Club tryouts are held twice a year: in May for all potential players and in November for players not affiliated with another club.

Our club uses tryouts to fill open roster spots on current teams and add new teams to the club as appropriate.

Tryouts for our 2026 Fall teams will be held in May, for players born 2019 and older. Pre-registration is required. This is for new players to the club only – current players do not need to try out. Details and required registration link are below.

Club soccer is a year-round sport with Fall + Spring seasons, and breaks in the winter and summer. You can read through a good explanation HERE and decide if club soccer is the right commitment for your family.

***Tryouts require online pre-registration in advance – there will be no on-field registration available.***

Tryouts are held by age group. In the fall US Soccer is reverting back to school year age classifications (Aug 1 – July 31st) as opposed to the current calendar year cutoffs (Jan 1st – Dec 31st).

If you are grade appropriate for the older age group – e.g. birth date of August 2014 but you going to be a 7th grader in fall (with the older age group class) – and you would like to tryout with your grade appropriate age group, please contact us.

Once registered for the tryout, players should attend the tryout date, time and location listed above for each age group (arrive 15 minutes early so you are comfortable and ready to begin on time). Players should bring regular soccer clothing including shin guards (required) and cleats, a ball and water

Decisions on selection and acceptance of players are made solely by BUSC’s Director of Coaching and Technical Directors. After evaluation, each player will be assigned to a team that best fits the player’s developmental level or potential.

Fall 2026 practices will begin the week of August 10th for the majority of teams and July 27th / Aug 3rd for High School aged teams.

Players born in 2020 should register for our Junior Academy beginning Fall 2026. Registration will open in mid-July. You can learn more about our Academy at belmontunited.net/academy .
